THE GOLDEN DUMMY
Hoping England can stick around long enough for Harry to get the Golden Boot.
But this World Cup deserves a Golden Dummy too.
Lots of crap going on. Plenty of candidates.
Who is yours?
I'm picking Pepe.
Grade A cheating mard.

Have to consult VAR about that nomination.
Nope.
Sorry.
Doesn't count.
Players only.

Too many to call, it is getting farcical but it is what the fans want to see.

Portugese have always been the biggest cheats going. It wasn't a pen but so what, cos now they have to play Uruguay. Oh dear.

Sorry, Ash.
After a long consultation with the Men from Var, that nomination is too vague.
Uptheclarets has only one Golden Dummy Award.
And it was thought, given the nature of said award, the histeronics envisaged if the award had to be shared was too much to contemplate.
Only one nomination per post, and it's got to be a player.

Come on, Doug.
You can do it. Just pick one from either.

Sorry then Buxton ---I shall have to abstain because every game brings out more and more candidates.Buxtonclaret wrote:Sorry, Ash.

It's what happens when you let a load of foreigners play football against each other.
Nothing short of disgraceful behaviour throughout most games.

Another vote for Pepe. I wouldn’t mind a lovely 2 footed challenge by Saurez that smashes Pepes knee into a million pieces before Saurez self combusts.

Re: THE GOLDEN DUMMY
Think the golden dummy should be shared around the referees as they all want the spotlight and as soon as a player does something great they stand and wonder how to get it back on themselves.
Last night was a prime example.
