Anybody going to Curzon Ashton?
Going to try and shake this “well the club ain’t doing anything” blues by popping over tomorrow to see us play and get my Burnley fix with my nephew and a couple of mates.

I was going to but with Dyche treating the pre season friendlies with the same contempt as the Europa League and not signing anyone for them I am not bothering.

Pre season friendlies are nothing more than warm ups, glorified training exercises and a chance to look at new formations. Most managers will not place much stock on them, especially the result.claretonthecoast1882 wrote:I was going to but with Dyche treating the pre season friendlies with the same contempt as the Europa League and not signing anyone for them I am not bothering.
I fail to understand how the manager is treating the Europa League with contempt ?

I'm just guessing here, but I think he was making a joke about some of the over-reactionary crap that has been spouted on here in the last week or so regarding our transfer activity or lack of.John Johnson 1605 wrote:Pre season friendlies are nothing more than warm ups, glorified training exercises and a chance to look at new formations.
