Good morning all, on what could be a very quiet dead line day for us, as we managed to get a lot of good business done this week already. However the Jay rod and Bolasie rumours keep rumbling on. So in an effort to keep the information and links if any in 1 place, I thought it would be good to have a thread to refer to for us who can glimpse now and then from work.
If we could keep to name, price and source, with no bickering in between that would be great

Dyche said anything else is doubtful because of everyone involved being in Turkey

The reporter on Sky this morning said we could use Vokes as a makeweight for the Jay Rod deal. Doesn’t he know where Vokes is?

In all fairness I think business is done, and good business at that. One player short of a perfect transfer window.

I'd have liked another wide player but, other than that, it's been good, and if nothing else happens none of the three signings have been players we expected until very close to making the signing.

Dyche’s comments on transfers last night convinced me we will bring at least one more in. It’s how he operates he deals in opposites. We already know touch and go means nowhere bloody near.

SD is usually pretty straightforward and if there was no more business to be done then he would say so. I think we may still have one more go for Jay Rod yet.

One player is all we really need, unless we're aware that Defour won't be fit for a good while... in that case I'd say two. We just need a winger, that's all. Antonio, Bolasie or Jay Rod would all fit the bill. Can we push one over the line?

A deal could be done whereby Vokes is loaned to Baggies, tomorrow, before a permanent move in Jan.

Isn’t the deadline 5pm today, including loans?

I can't see Sam agreeing to moving on loan again and more importantly dropping out of the PL. Also I'd be disappointed, as I've previously stated I'd have him over Wood any day of the week.

Wonder what would happen if We signed Jay Rod with Vokes going on loan after the game tonight, but then Vokes gets injured scoring our winner? Do we get to keep Vokes as well then or do West Brom have to pay for him being injured?

Is it likely Vokes would agree to a loan whilst he's in Istanbul, hopefully his focus is on scoring against the Turks

Is it? He’s played like 5 games in 3 years and Liverpool want £20m+?

He wouldn't need to go on loan - it could be permanent from day 1. You can make a permanent transfer tomorrow that won't be registered till January, but you can make a loan of the same player that would take effect immediately. A completely binding permanent transfer can be made even outside the window - as Leicester found out 14 seconds too late last year!

Is this just speculation on your part pb? I can see the same suggestion on replies to Harding's tweet.

Just a possible option for those who said it couldn’t be done as Sam is in Turkey tonight.
Not even on my wish list.
