Big night at Turf Moor.
The prize, a trip to Piraeus to take on Greece's most popular team.
For now, we need to roar loudly and frighten the Turks into submission (they won't want to go to Greece anyway!)
Here is Madge to lead the way.
Come on you Clarets.

Surprised Mee and Tarks rested. How tired can you be at this stage. Be good to see Gibson but think it's risky replacing the two centre halves so early. Obviously has a lot of confidence in long

I am currently sat in a Greek friends house in Crete on holiday watching olympiacos. It's a little bizarre knowing I can't watch the clarets later. Oh well I'm sure I will keep up with it on here unless the Greek wine I'm drinking renders me senseless before then .

Interesting. That's a lot of changes but I suppose backup is on the bench. I just hope we don't concede first.

Very clever. Keeps them all first team fit by rotating yet still a team that can/should win.
Good to see Jeff in his natural position. Hoping he can carry the ball at them.

He should have confidence in Long. He’s already extended his contract twice and Long has had far more good games than poor games in the first team.

Not likely to be tired at this stage but our opening to the season is crucial given the teams we’re playing. Planning long term. But we do need to win tonight.

It's not just changing Long for Tarks it's a totally new CB pairing, hope Hart communicates loudly,as understanding will not be there yet.Certainly not to Mee/Tarkowski levels.

I have arrived and parked up. 6 hours on the road! I could have gone to Athens easier!
Hope to test that, next week.
Team changes. However, if we fire we will score.
Come on you Clarets.

Really disappointed with the team selection. Bardsley and Long for christ's sake. Dyche letting himself down bigtime.
Oh well, let's do them anyway!

I know you're being sarcastic but they are. We're playing a decent team and they're not a patch on Lowton and Tarks.

10' Close! Barnes breaks forward into the area, before seeing his effort ripple the side netting. 0-0
