I have arrived in the land of the rarebits and parked ok.
Golf very tight 10.5 - 9.5
Madge is in good order and ready to fire us up to 3 points. Wonder if Defour starts on on bench? Will know in a moment!
Come on you Clarets

There's no way in hell we'll win this game (he says hopefully).
Nice to see Defour back. Personally believe Barnes should start over Vokes but good option from the bench nonetheless.

Ward not even on the bench. Presumably Hibsclaret has gone and locked himself in a dark room!

I think common sense wins the day - same lineup that won 4-0 against Bournemouth. Why would you change it.

Ward really seems to have fallen out of favour, to not even make the bench.

Guessing he has an injury which may mean he isnt as available as he has been over the last few years. Think a left back will be top of SD's shopping list in January.

It looks like with Defour back, and Mee (just about) being able to play left back, he's opted for Bardsley instead.

Both kids asleep (but not wearing colours). The clock ticking VERY slowly to midnight (my kick-off time). The missus festering in the bed less than 3 metres away and I`m desperate for a beer!
Come on Burnley!

Heard a rumour it’s because of what happened with Roy Keane, apparently Dyche is in a managers WhatsApp group with Keane so they’ve got really close.

Good to see you have me in mind...
Where the f is the main 50 cap man ffs.....
I’ll just have to get behind the team in that case. Hopefully it won’t be 2 wins in 18 with Taylor.... not exactly a good luck charm

Hope Bardsley can play LB if Taylor goes off for any reason.

It'll be Mee that goes left back with Long playing central. Hence why Bardsley over Ward would make more sense, anyway.

Lowton is two footed and covered as a left back in his pre Burnley days so if Taylor went off Lowton would switch and Bardsley would come on as RB

Why?.........Because Dyche has had week after week, month after month, to realise we are a better side with Defour in it.
Same applies to Brady, the sooner the pair of them are back the better.

Nah. Mee would go left back before Lowton. Easily.

We probably wont get to see but Id wager Dyche would see moving a RB who can play LB as far less disruptive as taking one of your key players out of one of your key positions to fill the LB role

But he's also regularly been faithful to winning sides.
Tricky one, we'd all (I think) like to see Defour back in and I'm sure it won't be long.

What, like moving Lowton to left back? He is key to us down the right.
Mee has played for Burnley at left back before. What you're suggesting makes less sense than my suggestion. Mine means playing Mee in a position that Dyche has already seen him in + it means bringing in Long, who SD is clearly a fan of, into central defence.
I'll double your wager

Shocking start to the game. Trying to launch it against a Warnock team and losing every second ball. Wake up ffs
