Mr Dyche -Wood's elbow or Tarkowski's stamp ?

Post by kindonyes » Sun Oct 07, 2018 12:10 am

Hi Sean - heard your interview about the Huddersfield player's dive - just wondered which you thought was worse - Woods elbow on their central defender or Tarkowski's alleged stamp on their striker ?

Tarkowski didn't stamp on him, At least not from what I saw. The guy was diving like a seizuring swan, Tarks went over him and his foot naturally balanced him but almost stood on his leg.

The elbow was bad, not intentional though.

It was Vokes' elbow, and even Ian Wright on motd has just said it was unintentional.

Not seen Woods elbow myself.

However observations on Tarkowskis stamp.

1 it looked accidental
2 if it wasnt accidental it was disgraceful from tarks.... should have stamped on the cheating bastards face!

Ah Vokes elbow. To me looked like he was trying to gain leverage. Fair play to the hudds player for keeping going and subsequently putting his head in the way of the next shot.

The game AND its fans have gone ridiculously soft.

Vokes, despite his size has never been a dirty player. In fact hes often too guilty of the opposite. If it was Barnes it might have been more open to discussion. But Vokes has never been a dirty player.

Speaking of which was worse. Was it Depoitres disgraceful dive today or... Van Le Parre this time last year?

Disgraceful.

Can anyone honestly say that Sam Vokes of all people would deliberately hurt an opposing player?

To Schindler's credit, he hasn't made owt of it and said it was accidental.

As said, Sam wouldn't do that on purpose.
