Pubs around Euston
I know we have had threads on here before but the search button hasn't been kind sadly.
With all the London fixtures coming up in the next month or two which are the recommended pubs around Euston station?

We used to like drinking in the Euston Flyer, Mabel's Tavern, The Dolphin and The Skinner's Arms after work. All served good beers. Also, the somerstown coffee shop was good but I think they had a fire a few years ago, don't know if it's re-opened.

Another shout for The Dolphin.PhilC wrote:We used to like drinking in the Euston Flyer, Mabel's Tavern, The Dolphin and The Skinner's Arms after work. All served good beers. Also, the somerstown coffee shop was good but I think they had a fire a few years ago, don't know if it's re-opened.
Walk down from Euston towards Kings Cross past The Euston Flyer, turn right at O’Neils then first left on to Bidborough Street. The Dolphin is on the right at the end of the street.
The pub doesn’t have SkySports.

Dolphin was a proper boozer we always used meeting up for England games, half of it now resembles a thai restaurant though.

Just been in The Crown and Anchor on Drummond St. This afternoon. Recently had a face-lift. Some good beers in and the food was very decent. 5 minutes walk from the station.

Had a meal in O'Neils in April the night before heading out to Basle via EuroStar on our Rhine Cruise... Good atmosphere and food....cricketfieldclarets wrote:The flyer is decent as is the rocket. Love the euston tap pubs too.

If you walk about 5-10 mins towards Russell Square there are some nice pubs behind the Russell Hotel, near Gt Ormond St hospital.

Mabel's is a good shout and five minutes from Euston Station.
post 12 - in that area and nearby, there is the Lamb on Lamb Conduit's St, the Queen's Larder in Queen's Square, the Friend at Hand behind Russell Square station, and the Museum Tavern bang opposite the British Museum...these are all very decent pubs but a good 10-15 minutes walk from Euston Station.
- polite request to the moderators of this forum...could all this pub/football ground info. possibly be saved into one area, a clearly visible reference for the future that could be edited and updated as we go...We are going to be in the PL a while you know.
