Sounds about right! In the reverse situation, this board would be littered with the same stuff.
Fans either must i) berate their own team to a huge extent for losing and playing terribly or ii) declare they was robbed.

Retrospective action for Hendrick? Ha ha. They don’t really know much about football do they. It’s almost as if they only started watching it about seven years ago.

Yes, absolutely, Hendrick aggressively caressed the ball in the Burnley penalty area, that should be an instant 6 month ban

He didn't dive for a penalty and don't call me Shirley

Four meetings in the PL and yesterday was the first time they scored against us.
Loads of possession 246% against our 154% in the 4 matches.
52 shots with just 11 on target against our 44 with 20 on target and we have scored 4 against their 1.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind! (With apologies to the late Windsor DaviesRIP).

At least there's one sensible post on there -
Hate them as much as you like, but they play to their strengths and what they do wins them enough games to at least guarantee Premier League survival year upon year.
Yes they are ultra defensive, yes their players get in your face, yes they are predicatable, yes they are as boring to watch as hell, but they are one very together well drilled unit, who will finish half way up the table at the end of the season in my opinion.
As awful as we were yesterday, we have lost to far worse teams than Burnley this seson.

Exactly how I feel about us. Someone who understands we are good at what we do. If more Brighton fans looked at Burnley as a way of making sure of Premier League football first rather than being 'billy bigs' they'd be a lot more likely not to get dragged into it. We have been in a false position this season IMHO and I blame a lot of that for loss of moral due to SD overplaying the talking us down so much at the start of the season. I will be very disappointed if we don't go onto finish mid-table, it is not beyond us to finish in the first half of the table given continuation of our upturn in form.

Ahhhh the smell of melting plastic, always a pleasing aroma wafting from these giddy, precious self centred sanctimonious fantasists .
The one claiming that “ retrospective action” should be taken against Hendrick is pure gold ..or should that be pure plastic ? Vast majority of their posters seem to have watched MOTD twice and become football fans .
I’d love it just love it (kk)if this lot went down

We would be upset if the roles were reversed.
It seems almost every week that supporters of other clubs spout bile at, and to, us. It used to get to me. I shrug it off now and manage a little wry smile.
I have seen us described as 'agricultural', 'all that is wrong with the Premier League', 'pointless' and as 'a club with no class, on or off the pitch'.
That would have been enough to have me reaching for my keyboard at one time. Now I just think **** 'em. I couldn't care less anymore.

Brighton....a club whose leading first team coach daubed his excrement on the walls of the opposing teams dressing room.
Classless club. Classless group of “new” fans.
Not that long since they had no home and the buckets were out.

Their board doesn't have many sensible posters, maybe we could loan out devil's advocate (not saying he is sensible) he would se d them over the edge.

Whilst that is a fairly sensible post I wouldn’t really say we are boring to watch. We defend as a team which in itself is a joy to watch. When we have the ball we look to get it forward into dangerous areas quickly - much more entertaining than watching teams who fanny around passing the ball across the back 4.
Of course the football isn’t the silkiest but I wouldn’t call it boring to watch. Brighton were boring, to the point that their fans were having to encourage their team to advance into our half.

Hi Leisure, when I read your post first time - and second time - I read "At least there's one sensible post on HERE." I was wondering who that could be before I realised your were referencing the BHA board.
I parked at Brighton Racecourse yesterday. I joined the queues with all the Brighton fans for the park and ride buses back to the car park. (We'd removed our claret & blue colours as a "courtesy"). There were one or two expressing their disappointment, "worst footballing team at the Amex" and such. And, they are worried that they might finish in 18th.
I hope they stay up, one of the grounds I enjoy visiting. And, I like Chris Hughton.

Roles have been reversed for the previous 3 games. Onside goal disallowed vs Watford, injury time Man U equaliser that was offside, obvious penalty not given against Soton. I don’t recall threads on here stating how much we “hate” those clubs. Never saw them fessing up and being humble when we had a perfectly good goal not given in our Championship winning season. You’re right though. Forget about them for this season, maybe for the next few seasons the way they are playing.

All very true. I'm sure they have nice fans as well of course, all clubs have them. I can only assume their messageboard has a much higher % of kids than what ours does.

Thought they were the worst team we've played during our unbeaten run. Everyone else battling to avoid 18th place is in better form. The manner in which they surrendered a 2-0 lead at Fulham recently was frightening. They are in trouble.

Given Cardiff's upturn yesterday was massive in more ways than one.
I would say BHA are the most likely to finish 18th now.

or maybe because we are now playing decent football with 2 up top and a winger they have nothing else to complain about. I think 85% of those complaining where talking about the style of play and negative tactics. That has thankfully changed with the emergence of McNeil

Between getting beat off us in Dec to the Fulham defeat Brighton only lost to Everton, Bournemouth (A), Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. Their next 5 home matches are Huddersfield, Cardiff, Southampton, Bournemouth and Newcastle.
I think Brighton are one of the poorest teams in the league and are lucky they got off to a good start. That said I think they'll probably pick up enough points in their easy run of home games to be safe by a game or two to spare

I actually logged on to their messageboard first thing this morning just to see what they were saying - didn't disappoint, absolutely hilarious!
I looked at some of the earlier threads - on their matchday thread they were moaning about their team and there was a lot of talk about wanting rid of Chris Hughton. End of the game and it's all the refs fault.
They were on the end of a bad decision yesterday but have you noticed how a lot of them managed to turn it into an attack on Burnley and Sean Dyche?
What is it with this lot - their hatred of Burnley and Sean Dyche is almost sinister!

The problem they've got is that they're battling against a group of teams who've been at the wrong end of the table all season and all are showing signs of being able to scrap and battle and put in big performances in the 'six pointers'.
Brighton remind me a little of us early season. To use one of Sean's phrases they like to 'slick it around'. Trouble is they're not very good at it and it's pretty turgid stuff when it doesn't come off. A lot of passing in front of the opposition, cheap surrender of possession and prone to costly errors.
Undoubtedly Murray could score the goals to keep them safe but if you stifle the supply as we did effectively with a tactical switch last night they don't appear to have a great deal else to offer.
Given their upcoming home fixtures they should be ok but they are in very poor form, low on confidence and at the moment don't appear to have the character for the fight.

I'm not replying to this post per se,
I went to Brighton yesterday and it was an absolute joy, all the clarets I met were diamonds, Rawtenstall Carol from the BL, Stockport John from the BL, Mick who was an apprentice at Huddersfield under Warnock. Also all the Brighton fans that on the train to and from the Stadium and in the pubs in the centre of the city, who were to a man complimentary and congratulatory of our team and efforts.
No negatives for me.
