One week to go until the first regular season games of the NFL.
Anyone else on here a fan? For my sins, I am a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Not seen my team win a playoff game since we won the 2002 super bowl!
Thank you in advance for the soft rugby, should play without helmets and pads, etc. comments. They really add value to the discussion.

Go Phins! Although think we may be tanking this year to get higher picks in the draft. Interesting to see who starts at QB fir Miami: Rosen or Fitzpatrick.

I'd be up for a fantasy football league.
The Bucs play tonight against the Cowboys in the last preseason game, but it will be mostly third string/practice squad players playing.
Here's hoping Jameis Winston finally proves his number 1 pick overall quarterback qualities this season!

Redskins fan myself. Clueless on the the format and no idea how how they missed the playoffs after doing so well early on. Gotta be the most boring superbowl ever. Was it 0-0 going into the fourth quarter?

I'm guessing Fitzpatrick is going to start to try and get a few ganes in and the chance of a win, with Rosen stepping in half way through the season. I also genuinly think we won't be tanking - with Rosen theyve already got a guy who Flores wants long-term

I'm gonna miss Fitz and his calming influence at the Bucs this season, but Ryan Griffin is a decent back up QB.

Another Redskin and they collapsed after Alex Smith suffered a horrendous leg break. Probably another poor season with a temporary guy in and that could be terminal for Gruden. 6 years now and 1 play off season. Not his fault all the Redskins troubles come from Daniel Snyder, massive fan, totally inept as an owner.

Gruden has to be in the hotseat.

I’m shocked Snyder has stayed so loyal.
They have had some dreadful injuries, to key men over the years, but so has every team.

Long suffering Raiders fan. There has been a lot of noise about how improved we are but I've seen and heard this before. I'll be surprised if we go over 6-10. Chefs have got the division sewn up anyway.

Jags fan. Expecting this season to be tough if pre-season is anything to go by. Hopefully better than last year but not hopeful. Such a comedown after going so close two years ago.

He can, on his day, be a great player, but at the same time he can be the opposite. I watched him at Wembley when he was with the Jets - he tore the dolphins a new one that day.
Griffin looks half decent. To be honest, I;m a little out of touch with what's been going on with other teams this year just with having a busy one. I'll be interested in seeing how the Browns stack up with a Mayfield/Landry/Beckham combo

Been a Saints fan since I first worked down in New Orleans in 1978 for a summer during student days. My son is an Eagles fan (and I'm now living in Philly) while my daughter-in-law is Cowboys fan - so hard to keep us all happy....
