In their fine tradition of radical thought and action, the Liberal Democrats have elected as leader, a middle class white male privately educated Oxford graduate, with a degree in PPE, who's also a knight of the realm ......
Strangely enough, the leaders of the Conservative and Labour parties are middle class white male privately educated Oxford graduates, the only standout being our revered Prime Minister, who is not, as yet, a knight of the realm !

Just to note, Keir Starmer is far from a toff. Solid upbringing, mum was a nurse and dad was a toolmaker. Good jobs, but hardly born with a silver spoon. Got into a Grammar School on merit (passed 11 plus), which became a private school later, after he’d got in. Did his degree in Leeds, postgrad at Oxford.
Nothing wrong with being clever and achieving.

I also think they once lived in a council house, the upper-class git.

Anyone who wasn't brought up in a 2 up 2 down terraced house with an outside "long-drop" toilet is an over-privileged posh b@stard as far as I'm concerned
