A talented actor who'd carried on working throughout these last 4 years with many of us not knowing he was fighting this illness.

Had no idea he was ill. Incredibly sad news.

Black Panther is arguably my favourite Marvel film, terrific actor.

May he rest in peace.

Absolutely gutted. Seemed to be a genuinely nice guy and a fantastic actor.

I echo what everyone has posted. A complete shock, and at such a young age too. So sad.

The cultural impact of Black Panther around the world should not be underestimated. Both an iconic movie and performance.
