Much better showing but it still doesn’t get you any points. Spurs there for the taking tonight and we have let them off the hook. Really really disappointed with Dwight at the minute. A shadow of the player from 6 months ago

Perhaps it's because they know if theyre fit they play.No real competition for places. The penny pinching will eventually bite us on the ass

Long 8 a much improved performance from him
Tarkowski 8 played well but should have buried the one Kane headed off the line

Brownhill 8 worked very hard and didn’t let his early booking affect his display
Westwood 7 worked hard but didn’t create much
McNeil 6 didn’t have the space he had against WBA but like Taylor didn’t create much
Wood 6 played well in covering but didn’t manage to create a good chance
Barnes 6 tried very hard but should have been replaced with JRod much earlier.

A good display by the Clarets but lost to a good goal and if we play as well against Chelsea I have more hope than I did before this game.

That was a very good all round team performance against one of the best attacking sides in the Prem.

Like many subs to late. Thought first half played well, not brilliant, second half not as good, but definitely getting back to what is expected and have no worries for the season, barring anymore injuries and the return of Ben soon.

I have chosen this rating as a bench march, the positive I take from tonight is we created chances, Guddy looked good especially the 1st half
but I too think we should sub earlier. Lowts did well too for his first game back

McNeil - 6: I really like McNeill, but he needs to be a lot more consistent if he's to realise his potential with us or a bigger club. The quality is there, the effort just needs to match.
