Should be good again
Hard to see past the big 4 of Trump, O'Sullivan,Robertson and Selby
Maybe Higgins has something left in the tank or Wilson improves on last year

Thinking Robertson but would like Ronny. A cracking 2 weeks though hopefully.

It took a while before Hendry believed it. He thought they were kidding when they said it.

Not a big fan of Eurosport coverage, but I'll have it on.

White should (in theory) wipe the floor with Hendry tomorrow. White has still been playing competitively for the last nine years whilst Hendry has been retired. That should be telling.

As for the tournament, hard to look past the usual suspects. Trump, Robertson and O'Sullivan the most likely winners, in that order for me, with Selby, Higgins and Wilson decent outside bets.

Think Trump takes it though

White will be very nervous, especially as he needs to win tomorrow to retain his tour card without the need for Q school. Its a free hit for Hendry, basically his nemesis. White's match sharpness should get him over the line, but it won't be pretty, I'm going for 10-8.

Has Hendry been given 2 years, or is this his second year? I think I remember him saying he'll be going for it again next year too. It'll be a good game.

I think this is the end of his first year, he only came back in the Gibraltar Open but passed on all the other tournaments this season.

Wilson hmmm... that would surprise me. Be nice though, but think it's more likely to be Robertson. Ronnie always good to see him get further into the competition.

Robertson for me, but I’m worried his hair will eventually become so ludicrous he won’t be able to see the pocket.

Find it odd that White v Hendry isn’t on tv unless I’ve missed something? You’d think they’d be a lot of interest in this.

Eurosport Player is the app. I find it amazing they’re not televising it.

don't understand the fuss about his hair; it actually looks normal for once.

it's his usual hairdressers delight that doesn't belong on a man of nearly 40.

Would have liked to watch Hendry vs. White tonight. It's a shame that it's behind a pay wall. Don't think Barry Hearn is too pleased about it. I subscribe to Amazon Prime and I thought that I could get some Eurosport channels with my package? Never mind..

Gutted I can’t watch it, but on the updates Hendry is apparently saying to the ref it’s going to be a long night for you pal. Jimmy has played some good matches Lately but both apparently shocking. I can see white going through still even at 1-3

Seen about 5 minutes of the third frame, it took about 20 seconds to see why it wasn't on TV.

Neither should continue

Semi finals:

Bingham v Selby
K Wilson v Murphy

Trump, Robertson, McGill, Williams all out!

Anyone care to pick a winner based on performance so far?

I backed Selby and Kyren Wilson ew pre tournament then doubled up when they both made the last 16. Looking good so far. Selby is an absolute machine. Can't believe he was 8/1.

Murphy, Selby and Bingham. Couldn't think of three more boring semi-finalists.

Snooker is very much like test cricket. It's always boring to watch a defensive batsman, but often it's those kind of players that win games.

At least test cricket is livened up by the boring batsman having a ball flung at his head at 90mph.

Not even Alex Higgins tried that tactic.

Only Wilson of the 4 is watchable for me. Hopefully Selby follows Trump out the door next. Mrs Doubtfire is capable of reeling of a few frames as shown yesterday against Trump but doesn't happen often.

I said it's hard to see past the big 4 at start of tournament but only Selby left out of them now and with way it's been going anybody's game now
Think Wilson gained alot of experience from last year and I'm going for him from here

Currently 10-8 to the dementor from Leicester. Not the most charismatic of finals.
