Owen Dodgson

Post by Newcastleclaret93 » Mon Jan 10, 2022 12:28 pm

In his short cameo on Saturday he put a fantastic cross in from the left, is he someone we should be giving a chance in premier league?

Based on one cross he put in you think he should be given a chance in the Premier League instead of McNeil, Taylor or Pieters?

Are you bored?

I think McNeil should be playing CM or behind wood until we strengthen that area. That opens up at a spot at LM.

It’s not totally ridiculous how many goal contributions has our left side made in 17 premier league games? 2?

None of them were fit on Saturday and he still only got 10 minutes. Instead we got two right footers on the left, 4 central midfielders across the middle and zero balance to the side.

I've changed the thread title to at least give him a correct spelling on his name

He's certainly one of the better U23s, I think he's about 19.

Watched him today in the U23 ‘s He played left back and supplied a couple of great crosses. However he was beaten for pace a couple of times by the Birmingham winger. Was still one of the better players tho

Looked all over the shop when he came on positionally. One decent cross but wouldn’t be getting carried away yet.
