Half time concourse TV screens
I know this is a small thing when we are staring relegation in the face but what on earth is going on this season with the TVs in the concourse at half time ?.....I'm specifically referring to the Longdise Lower which is where I sit but I assume it's the same in the other stands too. In previous seasons we've been able to watch Sky Soccer Saturday at HT and therefore see the HT scores at all other games. This season we are denied this and, instead, shown goal highlights of the first half we have just been watching which consist of showing any goals, and sometimes other incidents, from about 20 angles each over and over and over and over again. Who wants to send their HT watching the opposition scoring over and over again, as was showing throughout HT today ? Even when it's one of our (rare) goals it becomes tedious after the 5th or 6th different angle of the same goal.
Please, if someone has a contact at the club, ask them to sort this out and go back to showing Soccer Saturday so we can see the HT scores elsewhere..

We've probably had to cancel the monthly subs due to debt problems

They need to invest in a Fire Stick.

Re: Half time concourse TV screens
It’s amazing how many camera angles they have.
Re: Half time concourse TV screens
The Premier League half time scores are usually put on the big screen but that didn't happen today.
The PA system in the Jimmy Mac upper was again inaudible today and has been now for some time.
It's been mentioned on another thread today about various small things which the club seem to be getting wrong. It does make you wonder sometimes just who makes these decisions?

Re: Half time concourse TV screens
The ones in Jimmy Mac lower were off at half time. Have seen it before where it automatically switches off after so long. Noone switches it back on. Probably glad as I agree repeat loops of opposition goal is frustrating.
Re: Half time concourse TV screens
Why would a home side show 25 different angles of goals conceded in the first half and then to take the **** even further interviews city players at full time
As if it’s not depressing enough in the first place ffs
Someone needs bringing to task about this
Is it something that goes on at American football games or what !

They definitely were shown yesterday at half time, but 2 points:Targetman wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 9:12 pmThe Premier League half time scores are usually put on the big screen but that didn't happen today.

1 if you blinked, you’d have missed them. They were only on for a few seconds.
2 the claret font on a blue background made them difficult to see.
A poor effort.

I stand corrected then, I must have been looking the other way for a few seconds!Claretitus wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 9:33 amThey definitely were shown yesterday at half time, but 2 points:

We had to sell Wood to pay for all the neon signs inside and outside of the ground

Re: Half time concourse TV screens
I'm on the same concourse as you. I agree with your comments but I suspect it has something to do with revenue to be gained from squashing local advertisers onto the screen as well as showing match incidents.Stalbansclaret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 7:00 pmI know this is a small thing when we are staring relegation in the face but what on earth is going on this season with the TVs in the concourse at half time ?.....I'm specifically referring to the Longdise Lower which is where I sit but I assume it's the same in the other stands too.
