The absolute last island I'd go to in Greece.
Went about 10 years ago and really disliked it....hugely expensive and beaches filled with double-bed sized mattress type sunbeds with speakers playing loud "chill-out" music to a horde of poseurs. Horrible. You can see how Mykonos town was once really beautiful but now a crowded, over-priced nightmare.

Agreed stalbans, we were there in 2018 and it was as you described and also windy !
Crete, Skiathos and Kefalonia much better !

There are a couple of miserable brothers holidaying there at the moment with their expensive wives, constantly moaning at the cost ,if you meet up with them Lube,tell them to grow a pair and buy them a 1 euro ouzo .
