Announced his retirement mid season and is going to play his last game this weekend. Really bizarre timing but what a career he has had.

Not that bizarre. Barca bounced out of the Champions league this week. Maybe he just doesn't want to add the Europa League to his not good enough to play for Manu CV.😊

Has he not been in dispute with the club over refusing to lower his salary? I wonder if they’ve paid him off to release some funds?

I think the crowd were booing him too for refusing to be paid less than the contract he’d signed

According to reports Barcelona will pay him £30,000,000 of his owed £85,000,000 wages.
