Think he'll sign. Would like him and beyer on permanent and another year on loan for THB. Think we can improve on Maatsen (controversial I'm sure)

He’s absolute class. We must have a chance of signing him given Southampton’s likely destination.

I'm hoping he's telling his agent Saint's can do one.
He's wanting to stay. ;)

Tella was offered out at the start of the season for £6 million.

That was he going rate then.

Interesting comment about Maatsen. He plays better, as he did tonight, when he has a winger in front of him. Young and talented and learning.

Not quite sure how you work that 1 out, for him to stay it would mean he wants that to happen & we give Southampton enough money to reflect on the impact his departure would give to Southampton bearing in mind he’s key to their promotion campaign next season. With our position we are in & thinking about next season he needs locking down deep in cellar somewhere & hoping everybody in Hampshire forgets about him.

I don't dislike him, just think when he's bad, he's awful and will get exposed defensively in the prem. Seems to switch off a lot and mis controls balls and misplaces passes when off his game.

Not sure why you came up with that reply!
If they rated him that highly he would have been recalled in January.
Seems happy here and sure he'd jump at the chance of a permanent deal.

They got rid of the Inept manager who never recalled him, if you go onto saints web he’s on a separate thread & his progress is being closely monitored.

Southampton disrespected him by not even speaking with him. VK was stunned they didn't recall.

We will see, it certainly won’t be a cheap deal I just can’t see Southampton letting go of a key important player with the potential for their promotion, JWP gone & para payments they won’t be desperate, unless he really really wants it & we are willing to spend big it just ain’t happening.

It's a 2 combination thing, his willingness & reaching an agreement with Southampton that's top & bottom.

Tellas work off the ball is very similar to Wayne Rooney

Very recognisable the effort he puts in to get himself in spaces... Our biggest priority along with beyer

Then again they might want to do a rebuild in the same manner we did after relegation.

He's that good other clubs will be interested as well if Southampton make him available, that's the beauty & downside to loans, the player helps you achieve what you want to achieve but whilst all that's happening he's making a name for himself & becoming recognised elsewhere, it's mutually beneficial but both entities then let go.

I think unfortunatly we will be outbid if Southampton go down (they will).
Man U spring to mind, Spurs etc

Unless Tella forces a move to us I can't see we will keep him unless something we don't know about has already been agreed with terms and payment of loan etc

Yes we want him - Can we now afford him?

It’s fair to say that right now but a club like palace with zaha set to go will be on the look out for a wide player & I could probably name another 6 or so PL teams who might fancy, all this is on the assumption that Southampton will actually let him go knowing keeping him will massively boost their promotion chances, unless he’s massively attached to the northwest of the country mainly Lancashire as a county & a large fee is offered, it’s fairytale make believe stuff.

What did anybody seriously expect getting rid of so much proven quality & replaced with inferior unproven quality & that's including the manager, it's a club in decline heavily saddled with debt we haven't reached the bottom yet but I think they'll be a turning point & the green shoots will appear, far too many people care about the club but some are yet to wake up to the dangers that are ahead.
On the thread that was quoted from someone also said we'd do better than Fulham last year, and your one word response to that comment was:

I actually think he does love it up North, lives in Manchester gets the city vibe.
He's at a club where he is loved and wanted, reminds me of Sam Vokes finding his place with us.
I am sure a deal can be struck with Southampton

I certainly do I really do, question marks over whether he could make the grade in stepping up, might go in our favour regarding other clubs competing for him at our level, what worries me more is Southampton wanting at least a season out of him for their cause, so many assumptions we don’t really know for sure that Southampton will be relegated that completely changes the landscape putting us on a even level.

I know some are saying player power etc but I think Saints hold the cards here. They’ve got one of the best players in the Champ to look forward to if they want, he’s contracted there for another 2 years. It will come down to whether they need the cash flow on relegation and how much they ask. I can’t see us paying over a 10-15m fee.

I think he's wasted playing out wide, but he was my mom last night. They couldn't handle him, and both goals came from him chasing lost causes. Looked an excellent all round player
we have to do our best to keep him.
