Blackburn Rovers Spare Ticket for Over-65

Post by Rileybobs » Thu Apr 13, 2023 8:23 am

Morning all. My dad unfortunately can't make the Rovers fixture so I have a spare over-65 ticket which I'd hate to go to waste.

Due to the silly demand I don't think a first come first serve is the best idea. So in the spirit of the club's ballot, my suggestion is that if anyone who is interested can reply, I will give it until midnight and then use a random number generator - and the number that matches the post number can have the ticket.

Please note that the ticket is marked as an adult concession so it is strictly for someone over 65 years of age. Selling for face value of £24.

Decent gesture.

If only 1 person puts their name down I trust you will still do the ballot out of fairness

I would certainly like to put my name forward for the ticket.

If I don't sleep for 48 hours, I reckon I could pass for over-65

Is it possible that it could be considered an U23 ticket too? if so - I'll be interested for my daughter who is 17

The ticket has a concessions tab attached, but is also stamped as 'adult' so I don't know what the situation is. Maybe someone who has a child's concession ticket can advise what is printed on their ticket and whether this differs.

You clearly know more than I do then - I DO NOT HAVE A TICKET - as much as I've tried, I've not been able to get one other than being offered one for a ridiculous price.

My concession has a 'concession' strip on the LH side and both a Junior and Senior strip on the RH side. It doesn't have 'adult' stamped on it. Adult tickets should have a 3rd strip on the RH side saying 'Adult'.

I've bought a concession ticket off someone before (for Anfield), then gone to the ticket office and paid to upgrade to a full price ticket. They just give you the extra tab.
