If anyone has seen the Watt's (not their fault) on one of the Premier League Yank channels, then it's everything.
Go Burnley!
F**k off!

worst bit is you'll probably need a passport to watch future pre-season friendlies, best part is you'll get a holiday in America

Re: The worst bit about becoming 'American' famous
I wonder if we will have some this summer?
It is quite tricky to find opponents though - MLS clubs are busy and the big boys from Europe who are touring are all playing each other.
A lot of managers don't like pre-season US tours though so VK might not be keen.

Re: The worst bit about becoming 'American' famous
A few years ago they were trying to push the idea of at least one league game being played overseas.
Would anyone be OK with that idea if it was in America in the same way the NFL play some of their games over here?

Americans don't do sport. They don't get it in general.

By tailgating I don’t mean queues of traffic, it’s an American thing. You park up at a sports game and set up bbq etc out the boot of your cars, it’s a social thing prior to the game.

Great soccer in the Premeer League.
Re: The worst bit about becoming 'American' famous
No, no, no.
It’s a little different, from my understanding of American Football. Their teams seem to up sticks as and when there are bigger bucks or a shiny new stadium on offer elsewhere. They’re probably a little more used to games, even ‘home’ games, being a flight away.
Thankfully I’ve heard no such suggestion from JJ Watt, and long may it continue. Everything I’ve heard from him so far, I’ve been impressed with.
Go on a pre season tour of America by all means, especially if it helps us to grow a fan base over there, but do not mess with the competitions themselves. We have enough of that nonsense from UEFA as it is.

Not sure American Police Departments are ready for English football fans. They wouldn't like the unorchestrated, rowdy chanting and personal insults thrown at players. Don't know how they would deal with the persistent standing either
