Gareth Ainsworth
Unsurprisingly potted by QPR, wonder if he'll end up back at Wycombe in the future ?
Re: Gareth Ainsworth
Well that's six points next season that just became harder.

Funny you should say that, I feel the same. Don't know why, can't come
up with a plausible reason.

It's not just the hair. It's his whole manner.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 11:26 amFunny you should say that, I feel the same. Don't know why, can't come

Mind you, would we have fewer points now with him in charge?
No, I don't want him to replace Vinny!

Re: Gareth Ainsworth
Despite the Blackburn connections, always comes across as a decent sort to me.
I do wonder what QPR fans are expecting when they want Warnock in considering they didn’t like Ainsworth’s style of play.

More likely to end up on Sky Soccer Saturday, they love having him on there even when he was managing Wycombe.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 8:32 pmUnsurprisingly potted by QPR, wonder if he'll end up back at Wycombe in the future ?
12 months ago this weekend QPR went top of the Championship after beating Wigan and it’s been downhill from there with numerous managerial changes.

Re: Gareth Ainsworth
I see disrespectful Nigel (Pearson) has followed him today, sacked by Bristol City. That one surprised me though, Ainsworth didn't.

Re: Gareth Ainsworth
He looks like he hangs around bars and bus stations smelling of really strong cheap aftershave.
Re: Gareth Ainsworth
Doesn’t he play in a rock band.

Re: Gareth Ainsworth
Lives locally to me and a few years back used to go out in town after Wycombe home games.
Was actually quite a genuinely nice chap. Used to talk a lot about football and had quite a lot of time for Burnley and our successes at the time. Still see him walking into town with his family from time to time.
