According to the “i” Newspaper Burnley came 8th in an assessment by marketing firm Ticketgum. The criteria were: the number of private schools & Waitrose shops in each club’s local authority area plus median house prices & gross annual pay.

Ahead of Burnley were Chelsea, Fulham, Spurs, Arsenal, Palace, Bournemouth, & Brighton !

So that’s 12 clubs that can’t sing that “Sh1thole” song any more.

Yes, that's a valid geographical equivalent.

And on the craphole stakes, if you include a hinterland of X miles, then Liverpool and Everton would be in my bottom 3. Burnley has countryside within a few miles in most directions. The same distance from Anfield just takes you to more scouser houses. Croydon (Crystal Palace) makes up my bottom three.
