Hawkstone lager

Post by tarkys_ears » Thu May 09, 2024 5:39 pm

Anyone had it? How does it rate to say... Bud light? :D

I'm not into celebrity gimmicks but a mate of mine has done me a favour and he loves Jeremy Clarkson so I've bought him a few as thanks.

£3.25 a bottle (330ml!!)

Might have to have one now to take the sting out of it!

I bought some in the Whalley wine shop without realising what they were - they were pretty good.

Dear, but it’s a very nice lager. Gonna try the cider next.

It's alright, nothing revolutionary, but if he likes the show it's a lovely gift

Never had it, but believe it’s a good lager.

If you haven’t already had it, try Bowland Pilsner. It’s a lovely beer.

Bought a crate of the Hawkstone IPA.

Very good but wouldn't have too many. Going to go for the Session or Pils next.

Might also sample the cider.

It is worth a try but a case of 12 bottles can set you back £28.00 ish.

Very good though.
