Latest episode from Blackburn. Very funny this week with some local references. Cackling like an idiot on train. Worth searching out if your bored.

I went to the recording of this at KGH in April. They recorded 2 shows on the night, both of which have now been broadcast on Radio 4. Jack Dee opened proceedings by saying this week they were in Blackburn, or as it is more widely known 'the gateway to Burnley.' Cue boos and catcalls and 1 very loud cheer from sjb!

Hahaha that would make a nice addition to their town sign given that the no longer display their twin town status.

Always funny. Jack Dee’s ribald introductions of “Samantha” the timekeeper/scorer always make me chortle.

love the show and chuckled out loud waking the Mrs up when listening to it the other night when I heard that! (I listen to podcasts to go to sleep to in bed using my headphones).

I must admit it took me ages to learn the rules to Mornington Crescent (here's a link for anyone interested https://www.isihac.net/rules/index.html) :)

Love the show too! Went to watch the Halifax recording last year and we were possibly the youngest there by about twenty years (not a dig!) Very rehearsed and scripted but then what isn't? Still very entertaining.

Haha I nearly posted this. Dee’s opening few minutes were funny as heck. And Henning Wehn was on top form.
