Not ideal when we play them down the road on the Saturday at 12:30.
They play Blackpool on the Tuesday.

There is no way we should be playing Wednesday night when there’s an early kick off on the Saturday but I suppose this sort of scheduling will hit every club eventually.

Thankfully we're in a position that we can play nearly an entire new 11 of players from the first team against Wolves if we need to, and still put out a half decent team. But regardless of fitness, the problem we have is that it's one less day worth of prep for the Blackburn game. Sure Scotty is well versed in managing these situations though.

That gives them 3 days and a bit to prepare for a cup game. It gives us 2 days and a bit to prepare for a league Derby. I can think of a few clubs that wouldn't accept this and understandably so.

Playing Wednesday night potentially finishing around 10 without pens then kicking off just around 60hrs later for a derby game is taking the P1ss

Or alternatively, Wednesday is exactly half way between Sunday and the following Saturday. Seems fair.

Well someone on Talk Sport said on the Monday against Luton, if you made a team out of the players left out of the matchday squad it would be good enough to reach the playoffs.

I’m thinking if on the night of the draw that paired us with Wolves everyone had picked their full changed 11
That may be close to the team we’ve got left to line up against Blackburn

I may be over reacting

No ticket details as yet but we are in the Steve Bull Lower on the side for this game and the home fans are being charged

£12 - Adults
£9 - Over 65s and Under 21s
£3 - Under 17s

Those prices increase on Tuesday, 27th August (the day before the game) to £20, £15 & £5.

This is basically what Klopp was saying for the last few seasons?

Don't forget the warm down, debrief and the journey home. Could be an early thursday morning bedtime for the lads.

I know it's a complete joke, this along with all the transfers and this could be B@stard's chance to beat us.
