I’ve seen a couple of first team games over the years - Penrith in the FA Cup was one - but it has to be rare.

Billy Hamilton and Steve Taylor 1983.
7-1 v Charlton

I can remember Peter Noble getting a hatrick in a 4-4 draw with Norwich. I think Ted Macdougal got all 4 for Norwich

MacDougall got 2. Norwich's other goals came from Martin Peters & Phil Boyer.

HIrd & Taylor at Penrith too - they are the only ones in my years of watching Burnley but in January 1957 both Jimmy McIlroy and Ian Lawson got hat tricks against New Brighton and in November of the same year Jimmy Mac and Albert Cheesebrough did against Leicester.

A couple of others too - all on the list at
