Just moved into an all electric apartment with really old dated bulky storage heaters on economy 7.
I want to ditch the economy 7 and to replace them all with electric modern white programmable radiators...not fussed about WiFi ones...too complicated for me.
I'm told there are radiant heat ones, convector ones, ceramic core ones and oil filled ones!!
I really haven't got a clue..Can anyone suggest which type is the best and most economical run.
Thanks in advance.

Dimplex Quantum Heaters have taken over from the old dated bulky storage heaters.
Good units that run on energy retention cells and a programmable and available in a range of sizes.

I put my two pennith worth on that thread but it might be worth asking what other people in your neighbouring apartments have done.
I believe there are still night and day electric tarriffs so that may also affect your thinking. Working out the best supply company and tarriff is a nightmare because there are so many variables - standing charge, discount for direct debit, night and day tarrifs and, for a new flat, estimated the likely usage.
