I never do the ratings, but think he had a good game. Got the one big decision right and let the game flow instead of blowing for every little coming together.

He’s a decent ref is Madley, had quite a few good performances with us in recent times.

Easy match to ref, as players respected each other and the ref. Good performance.

It always seems easier to give a referee good marks when your team has won but Madley's performance tonight was excellent.
Fair play to Plymouth and Rooney for playing in the right spirit without any of the antics we saw from Portsmouth the other week.

How many minutes do you think there should have been?
The board went up for 6 minutes and then the game was stopped for about 2
I thought 6 was about right but it could have been more, and we played about 6.

Great to see these high marks for a top class referee who had a great match between 2 teams who played with honesty and no rolling on floor and time wasting

I think the ref played a part in that though, he allowed certain things to go, but players knew the line. It was an excellent performance.
Although I don't think Lyle would agree!

Lyle needs to watch a few Basher Barnes videos to learn his trade.

From the TV and with the benefit of replays I was extremely impressed with the ref, as far as I could see he got everything right, including the additional 2 minutes at the end because there was a substitution in injury time wasn't there? so he just added the time on which is correct and something we've been calling for for years.

They put six up for the added minutes while the game was stopped. It was another one minute and forty seconds before we restarted so the added time to added time was absolutely correct.
