Must be a good age, great player and really played uo to the boring tag. RIP.
Re: Terry Griffiths Snooker Player...
He was 77 and had been afflicted by that most horrible condition namely dementia. A painless end to life for the sufferer but so much pain inflicted on your loved ones watching it take everything except your body
RIP Terry your snooker was never boring but cool calm and calculated

Re: Terry Griffiths Snooker Player...
He was great on commentary too - one of the few who actually gave some tactical understanding behind the shots and would 'map out' how players would play out the frame, in his ace Welsh accent. You can see why so many players employed him as a coach. RIP
Re: Terry Griffiths Snooker Player...
Got to be one of the slowest ever players!
Nonetheless, a nice guy in interviews and worthy world champion.
77 was no age and dementia a dreadful end to a sporting hero.

Saw him play at the Guild Hall, Preston, either late 70s or early 80s. Great player and a nice man. RIP.
