Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
Swansea took 1900 down there this weekend so I presume we could get more tickets if needed?
Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
We certainly won't need more than our initial allocation.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 4:03 pmSwansea took 1900 down there this weekend so I presume we could get more tickets if needed?

Don't know if it's any indication of general demand but I went down to the ticket office early (9.40) this morning for 4 tickets thinking there might be a queue but myself and another two folk were the only ones there until just before 10 when the TO opened and another couple arrived.
Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
Would guess that most people tend to purchase online.Vintage Claret wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 12:59 pmDon't know if it's any indication of general demand but I went down to the ticket office early (9.40) this morning for 4 tickets thinking there might be a queue but myself and another two folk were the only ones there until just before 10 when the TO opened and another couple arrived.

Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
I bought 2 tickets on Monday. They arrived by post yesterday. That's very quick.
Nice surprise with the tickets - the words "Licensed Standing" printed on the tickets (block M).

I bought 4 tickets on Monday but Royal Mail seem to have forgotten where Worsthorne is. Not had any post since well before Christmas!Paul Waine wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 4:27 pmI bought 2 tickets on Monday. They arrived by post yesterday. That's very quick.

Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
My tickets arrived on Tuesday which is excellent. However they are stamped as sitting section only, no standing permitted. This wasn't put across at time of purchase and personally we'd rather stand- are they very strict with this?

Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
Quite why Burnley couldn't be bothered to indicate this is beyond me but Portsmouth have a sitting and a standing section in the away end and I am aware that it has been strictly adhered to in previous games. Ours are in the licensed standing area but that's not by choice, it's just what we got.mickleoverclaret wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:02 amMy tickets arrived on Tuesday which is excellent. Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
Other clubs are much more informative. When Stoke put tickets on sale for their game at Portsmouth they gave out this information:mickleoverclaret wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:02 amMy tickets arrived on Tuesday which is excellent. Supporter notice from Portsmouth Football Club: Supporters standing within a seated area will be expected to sit. Failure to comply may result in ejection from the stadium with no entitlement to a reimbursement. Supporters will have their sight lines obstructed if they purchase a standing ticket but expect to remain seated for the duration of the game. No transferring between rows is permitted and those who have purchased in the seated area will be expected to stay seated.
Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
Picked mine up yesterday. We're in block M row B which, I believe is the front row. Not surprising these are marked strictly seated and I was asked when I rang for them whether I wanted standing or seated. As we'll have my 11 year old grandson with us I opted for the latter.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:05 am

The plan was showing initially but no seats were showing on it, then it just disappeared completely!

Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
I just got a ticket as they went on general sale this am. There was an option of 3 sections given but no indication of where the sections were.
I randomly chose section N and it did indicate that this was standing area (and also a licensed area) at that point - something I (tick box) accepted because I like to stand if I'm not blocking anybody else's view.
There was no choice of seat available in the section, I was allocated row Q which I assume is a decent way from the front.
I also find I cant book on this site using my PC because, when I get to the end of the process, a box I need to tick is blocked by a different "pop-up" which I cant move. Managed OK using a phone though. It was the same for Reading tickets.
Not the most user-friendly process overall but I got there and usually receive tickets by post pretty quickly.

Got myself three tickets.
Anyone know how they ID kids? Bringing the 13 year old, who's 14 in March, and got him a £6 under 14 ticket, however he's on the taller side and I don't want any issues at the gate.

I feared that might be the case. I guess we'll keep our fingers crossed for some sensible stewarding on the day.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:05 amQuite why Burnley couldn't be bothered to indicate this is beyond me but Portsmouth have a sitting and a standing section in the away end and I am aware that it has been strictly adhered to in previous games. Re: 2024/25: Portsmouth v Burnley – Ticket Information
None showing available online at the moment. Hoping they need to load more on as didn't get round to ordering our 5 last week when the point limit dropped so my lad would be eligible.
Does anyone know which blocks are safe standing and which is strictly seated?

I'd imagine its the first few rows that are seated. No option to choose though.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 8:30 amNone showing available online at the moment.
