Kyle Walker's Burnley connection

Post by dvalley69 » Sat Feb 01, 2025 9:18 am

Just seen this after his signing at AC Milan.
I'm sure he mentions Burnley at 0.36 mark. Could it be one of his kids? Coz then he says one's at City...

Think I might have known that and forgotten.

Let’s hope he’s as good as his Dad :D

I’ve heard him mention that before in an interview. One of his kids is in the academy at Burnley

My abiding memory of Walker was the covering run he made to stop Robbie Blake putting us 2-0 up at Wembley in the play-off final ...

I was under the impression it was Kyle Walker the tv pundit’s son and not the ex Man City players son who is in our academy?

Yes Walkers lad is at Burnley, I heard him on Talksport in a interview on the drive time show saying am playing taxis at the minute taking my lad to Burnley for his game and gonna have a brew with VK.

That was during VK's period.

What are we? A childcare center for former pros? Ronaldinho, Kyle Walker, and Nicky Butt. Could add Micky Mellon, Chris Casper, and a few others to that list too.

A youth department made up solely of kids from former professional footballers would probably be more successful than your standard set up
