Tonight's Football

Post by BigGaz » Tue Feb 11, 2025 5:28 pm

Juicy juicy games tonight.

I'll be utilising the dual screen functionality of my IPTV to watch City and Leeds tonight.

Can the hornets do us a solid?

I'm seeing a draw at Vicarage Road.

Interestingly, Tom Cleverley is a Leeds fan- he's from Baildon, I know his mum.

When he was leaving Man U I said why don't you come to Burnley - his answer amounted to 'no' but was actually two words.

I was just thinking what to watch tonight.

FA Cup on the Beeb, City v Real Madrid on Prime or Championship on Sky!

If you have Prime then it's surely City vs Real. I cancelled my Prime last month so it could end up being £9 to watch 1 game if I sign up again.

Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe start for Real. Foden, De Bruyne, Savinho and Haaland start for City.

Watch this, it'll be 0-0 now.

I've only seen that when buying something for delivery they sometimes offer it at checkout. I might just sign up anyway - will no doubt want to buy something daft over the next 4 weeks.

When you win the ball back, and have men on the halfway line, it makes scoring so much easier.

I don't think we need to worry about Leeds tbh - we aren't finishing ahead of them.

Hopefully Leeds keep winning as they play Sunderland and Sheff Utd this month

Taxi for Cleveley in the morning- he nearly went two weeks ago.
As for Leeds sadly no one can catch them as their finishing is PL standard. Two chances and three goals. We just need to stay ahead of Sheffield Utd and Sunderland and it’s do-able if we avoid injuries with our only two strikers Foster and Fleming
Two chances tonight and they score 3 goals

Real Madrid v City toss fest sums up modern football. 2 legged play off for under achieving “big” clubs but no replays in the FA Cup for over achieving minnows. This round should be eradicated and the top 16 progress. Or just bring back replays and let these massive squads absorb the multiple matches.

PNE playing well away to Norwich, well worth 1-0 at HT. Pressing well and not letting Norwich play, they've had an injured player (stretchered off about half way through H1) - Holmes,. Not sure how important he is to them but it's not affected their performance so far.
Could do with Norwich coming back strongly or PNE's confidence will be high.

Watford have been poor the last 6 weeks, and Leeds are on a roll of confidence, as we were under VK, and they can sweep anyone aside.
