Re: Dimbleby Lecture
I thought that Gareth delivered the lecture extremely well and from the heart, without reference to any notes that he may have had.
Very relevant to our modern society and problems faced by many young people.

It was good.
I think he's right. What we see is what we become.
Kids from broken homes, single parent families, families where people don't work breeds these types of behaviours we see now
Lack of positive role models

Superb lecture and well worth a watch.
Re: Dimbleby Lecture
A Tour de Force when it comes to doing a presentation. As far as I could gather- no hidden AV aides, no notes. Would love to spend half hour with him to ask "How long it took to a) prepare that talk b) how many rehearsals he had c) did he have coaches to help?"
None would be a criticism but nice to know what it takes to perform like that. Having done a lot of presenting to peers, getting their prolonged attention and being slick in getting over the points is very difficult without aide memoires.
Well done Gareth and I really hope some good comes from it.
