Cricket Club
Meeting an away fan after the game tomorrow and the cricket club seems the easiest venue. Just wondering, do they have any cask ale there? Never been in before…

Yeah, normally have one or two on. I think only at the inside bar though.

It can be hit and miss on the Cask Ale front. After the Luton game it had run out and they didn't change it. So I had a Guinness. Abetter option would be the Miners - meet him or her at the Welly traffic lights.

Be prepared to wait an age to get served, it's very slow in there

I don't go in the cricket club, but the Miners is absolutely rammed match days.Blue Skies wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 2:04 pmA better option would be the Miners - meet him or her at the Welly traffic lights.
However, they have sufficient bar staff to cope.
Tricky getting a seat though, if you need/want
to sit.

Went in there pre match with a WBA supporting mate the other week. Cask ale was on upstairs, didn’t have a pint my mate’s pint looked decent. No issue getting served, we were in an hour before KO, guess it depends on the time and size of away following.
