Lampard charged
Frank Lampard has been charged by the FA with the same charges as Scott Parker was after the West Brom game on the Turf. Their analyst Connor Lawley has received the same charges having apparently had something to say in the tunnel.

Re: Lampard charged
How come for a player a red card is an immediate 1 or 3 games ban, but for a manager it is delayed by a week?
Re: Lampard charged
Probably because it is usually inept refereeing which leads to manager reds, so they give them a chance to prepare, for their stand seat!RickyBobby wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 2:52 pmHow come for a player a red card is an immediate 1 or 3 games ban, but for a manager it is delayed by a week?

Re: Lampard charged
Preusmably because something as trivial as "speaking to the ref on the pitch" at the end of the game is deemed a red card offence, just the same as if the manager verbally abused the ref, or( indeed) pushed him over , so they will have to review the referees match report, and judge each incident on its merits.RickyBobby wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 2:52 pmHow come for a player a red card is an immediate 1 or 3 games ban, but for a manager it is delayed by a week?
