What would be your preference?
Obviously everyone wants both Leeds and Sheff Utd to lose today but if you had a choice of the following three set of results what would be your preference?
1/ Leeds & Sheff Utd both draw
2/ Leeds win & Sheff Utd lose
3/ Sheff Utd win & Leeds lose
For me I think #2 just edges it over #1 as with Sheff Utd starting to stutter and with them having to come to Turf Moor I think that puts Burnley in the strongest position for automatic promotion

Re: What would be your preference?
Win the league take the money then give our place to Leeds
But out of those choices 2
But out of those choices 2
Re: What would be your preference?
I've to 100 quid on Burnley to finish above Leeds with a mate so I'm gonna say 1
Re: What would be your preference?
Definitely 1.
I want to win the league. It's ultimately what we watch football for, to see our club win trophies

Re: What would be your preference?
Also worth noting that if Blades draw today, they would need to win two games and us lose two to get in front of us.

Re: What would be your preference?
Great hypothetical question
For me, the crux is that we still have SU to play. If they lose today, then they will almost certainly have to beat us to get automatic places. If they don't, then (given the GD) we'd only need 4pts max from QPR, Watford and Millwall. Obviously if they beat us, and win today, then we'd need them to drop points elsewhere. Given they play Cardiff, Stoke and Blackburn, I wouldn't hold out much hope.
So I'm going #2

Re: What would be your preference?
Although I want to win the league, promotion is the priority so I’d go for 2. If we go 5 points above sheff utd we could lose to them and still afford to draw another game and still go up.

Re: What would be your preference?
I would be worried that we then play for the draw. I feel we can win an open match so don’t want us sitting back like we did second half last night.Roosterbooster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 9:11 amFor me, the crux is that we still have SU to play. Surely a team needing to beat us makes the game more open?Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 9:16 amI would be worried that we then play for the draw. I feel we can win an open match so don’t want us sitting back like we did second half last night.

Re: What would be your preference?
Given how poor Plymouth and Preston are, I’m not expecting much today. With that in mind, any of those three combinations would be a huge bonus.
