Parker could be the difference now.

Post by Notsosuperstevedavis » Sat Apr 12, 2025 11:14 am

This kind of feels like this is where parker comes into his own now like a thoroughbred charging home on the final straight and stretching its legs

Our points per game is on the up and the harmonious dressing room we’ve heard about all season pays us back now in points and consistency, while the other two panic and scramble knowing that first place ambitions are evaporating in front of their eyes and they realise its suddenly become a ‘them or us’ situation for Leeds and Sheff U.

And hopefully crack under the increased pressure.

Hope I’m right and well done all involved. (So far)

Calm as they come.

Humble winner.

Embrace him.

I'm expecting it to go to the last game of the season for the title. But I think one of the three will be out of the automatic race by then. I think Leeds have come through there wobble. If Sheffield dont get the result today I think there done.

Anything can happen at this stage. The result at Derby was no surprise to me and whilst unlikely the Nobbers could come away with a point and Plymouth could get something against United although United's recent away form is impressive with 6 wins on the bounce before their loss last weekend at Oxford. This league has always thrown up strange results, more so at the season's end.

Just looked up Utd's away record. W 13 D 4 L3. Easter Monday will be tough.

Our second half performances need to improve, we’ve had a few bad ones this season, get that right and we’ll beat Sheffield Utd.

Look at how calm Parker is and how he’s talked down anything related to promotion compared to the over emotional Wilder. Partly explains recent results.

He's nowhere near the level of Farke or Parker. As the pressure has come on its become even more obvious. I'd be embarrassed to have a manager getting involved in stuff like that.

Think he's been the difference all season.

He’s very cool and calm and is obviously hugely respected by the players.

We’re going up.
