Ranking of the 92
A project was undertaken this year to rank the 92 league clubs based on a combination of size and history. The results of the study have been made public today and I have to say apart from the odd one or two it looks pretty much spot on

Re: Ranking of the 92
Other than swapping Crewe Alexandra with Mansfield Town I don’t think anyone could argue with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP had put that together himself.

Tiermaker a home computer play list website for 10 year olds.
Think it demonstrated its lack of credibility with the 'Tinpot' description for the bottom teams on the list.

Re: Ranking of the 92
There is a fair bit of obvious nonsense in there. West Ham and Leicester being massive for example. (And Leeds.)
Swansea, a big club. Preston, a big club. Exeter and Bristol City, average. Blackpool and Luton, same as Accrington Stanley and Burton Albion. Scunthorpe United, one of the 92 league clubs.
It's as fake as most of Devil's Advocate's posts.

Re: Ranking of the 92
As soon as I saw Preston North End were ranked higher than us, I didn't read the rest of it.
Utter nonsense.
Utter nonsense.

Tiermaker is Used on Twitter - X all the time for clickbait. (Biggest club/best fans/ground etc) Please can we leave that nonsense there where it belongs rather than on here...Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 10:50 pmA project was undertaken this year to rank the 92 league clubs based on a combination of size and history. His whole shtick on here is that of a dull man with clearly way too much time on his hands.

Re: Ranking of the 92
How old is this? Scunthorpe....?
I'd also be insulted as an Everton fan sat next to Coventry - one major trophy (off Gary Mabbutt's backside) in their history (in fact i'm pretty insulted as a Claret to be below Coventry!)
