My memory must be going as I get older, but I have no recollection whatsoever of Josh Benson.

All his first team games were behind closed doors. He signed for us summer of 2018 I think it would have been from Arsenal after a trial period.

Barnsley fans really rated him at the start, shame about the injuries.

Alex MacDonald must have been playing for about 30 years now.

Really is a shame about Josh Benson, came back from an injury to get on the bench at Wembley and lasted just a few minutes before he got a bad one.

Alex Mac - had himself a decent career and has done well to come back from a serious injury that kept him out for most of the 2021/22 season. Terrific lad with a terrific attitude.

My thoughts too! Shows how far and how long it is that we have been at a consistently high level.

MacDonald ran and chased everything. Nothing but deserved, he long career.

I went to watch Stevenage a couple of seasons back and it was Alex Mac's debut. Best player on the pitch and deservedly win man of the match.

Wasn't Benson the first of the lads we picked up aged around 18 who we got money for?

Tom Anderson has had a decent career.
