Sheffield Wednesday

Placed under a transfer embargo by EFL because players and staff wages for May haven't yet been paid. Thai owner Dejphon Chansiri accused by local MP Clive Betts of "holding the club hostage".

EFL have charged the Owls with "multiple breaches of regulations on payment obligations".
(BBC Sport/ Mirror)

Owner insists he wants to sell, but he's already turned down two offers from American would-be buyers.

Such a shame that such a huge club, steeped in tradition and so well supported has for years been hit by a series of this kind of event. Every time they seem to be on their way back another bomb drops on them.

And this is one example of why the Burnley Fans ISA is so important. To have a voice, however small, influence and cooperation with the club and independent of that!
