England v West Indies - 2nd t20

Post by ClaretTony » Sun Jun 08, 2025 4:13 pm

They had 121 from the first 16 overs but then added 75 from the last four including Rashid’s last over, the nineteenth, when they scored 6-6-6-1-6-6.

Finished with 196/6.

England want 62 from the last six overs with four wickets down. Although we’ve been in front of them for most of this innings, that last four overs from West Indies is going to make it tough for us.

We are 23 in front at this stage.

A pity that WIndies always fall short, was at Riverside on Friday where it was a similar story. England bat well down the order but the bowling is average and we are being flattered by the opposition.
