They (Golfers) don't really have a great deal of control over the object ball, do they? I mean how often do you see a snooker player loose control of the cue ball to the extent that it leaves the table and hits someone in the crowd, same with darts?

Maybe the snooker players need to play on 400 yard long tables with only 1 pocket and no side cushions

Same with footballers. How often does a snooker player put his shot a yard over the target?

And as for archers.... they seem to miss the man and hit the apple instead.

Boxers:
Train for months but very rarely do they knock their opponents out with the first punch.

It reminds me of the debate between which is more difficult: 147 or 9 dart finish. 147 every time for me.

Footballers train all week to score a goal then have a collective orgasm when they do.

that debate is a reasonable one.ollieclarets8 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 11:36 amIt reminds me of the debate between which is more difficult: 147 or 9 dart finish. 147 every time for me.
however comparing a golf course to a snooker table is like wondering why there are pile-ups on the motorway but not in your garage.
