Top day of sport

Post by claret wizard » Sun Jun 15, 2025 11:36 pm

No threads pulling this all together, but what a day of sport.

For those still awake, US Open is still on and has gone random after a thunderstorm. Rahm in tge clubhouse at +4 (6 behind) has a chance of winning.

Grand Prix with McLarens crashing into each other.

Workd Cup of darts with 10:9 win to Northern Ireland.

Some bizarre football in the USA going on as well.

In Walking Football, the FA's National Championship for Regional teams took place at Coleshill Town FC's 3g+ facility earlier today. Much sunburn was to be found as earlier cloudy skies cleared.

My Birmingham County over 65s team were runner's up in our section. A poster on this board, Paul Waine, was in the winning squad in the 70s tournament, playing for Surrey.
