First thing he did was chuck Tybebo's set piece little black book in the recycling

Excellent news. Obviously earned his spurs and now makes way for our Bash.

Going to be some changes according to Cork and I doubt he'll be coming in to replace Tybebo.

Great news from this ex stylish player of ours. Was so impressed with the way he handed himself when Kompany kept him out of the starting 11, and he seems to have a wonderful calming nature in his role as coach. Will be great to have his experience around the first team in the PL

Going to be some changes? As in more changes after his arrival?

Is there someone lined up to replace Tybebo, do you know Tony?

Excellent news. Delighted Jack is back in the first team fold. Feel we’ll benefit a lot from this.

Wonder if we’ll see Matt Wells come in now Ange has been sacked. He’s followed Parker everywhere he’s been bar Burnley.

Yes put Foster in his place when that muppet gave his little speech to the cameras about Our Boys not trying hard enough.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Maybe depends if Spurs have taken our approach and want a settled coaching staff? If they do, perhaps he’d prefer to stay and have stability.

I think it’d be good having that bit of experience being around the Premier League for the last couple of seasons though. Can’t hurt with team analysis, game planning, etc.

Felt like it was a bit rich coming from someone who’d been signed off work for 6 months. Thats all I’ll say on the subject.

There's plenty of room in a dressing room for more than one opinion, and on that particular topic, both players were right.

Players need to feel that they can all express an opinion, and they are not all going to agree, especially when things aren't going well.

He was one classy player was JC. Always looked like he had far more time on the ball than he actually had.

How long before someone asks next season whether he could still do a job in the centre of the park for us?

As for Jack himself, it’s obviously well deserved and a step on the ladder to bigger and better things.

He’s the consummate professional.

Briefly reading about him this morning he came through the academy at Spurs so will be well known to the club. Maybe his experience at Brugge has shown the benefits of stability and you would think Spurs are happy to keep him given he wasn't sacked along with the rest of Ange's team.

SP not making the same mistakes as Kompany.

Happy to have a man at the helm who’s more interested in building the club than his own image.

It's great to see him involved at the club. He'll always be one of my favourite ex-players. He just went about his business and was Mr. Consistent. Watching him and Defour as a midfield two was a pleasure. They complimented each other perfectly. It's no surprise he got his England cap during that period. For a defensive midfielder he knew when to score goals too; PNE and Rovers for starters, plus a couple in Europe. A proper Claret!

Time will tell but for me scott Parker is the perfect blend between modern Burnley and dyche Burnley
