I saw Rob Jones ruin a friendly at Preston a few years ago but this bloke today was just downright ridiculous

Sounds like he spoiled a competitive game.

I cracked out laughing when I saw the title. Can we give him 0's for this?

For today and today only, yes! Let’s get silly season out of the way before we face nine months of VAR-led officiating

My stream was with Stoke commentary. The first booking very early on, a Stoke player, they decided that it was odd to get a booking so early, in a friendly.

By the end they couldn't believe the 'it's all about me' ref and how he was handling the 'friendly'.

When Laurent got another yellow, their thought was - this is a friendly - competitive. Ref has no reason to keep giving g yellows and if he thinks Laurent deserves a second yellow, he should just go to the manager and say, "Take him off". Both teams stay with eleven, to get their .minutes and all is well.

Shambles of a ref.

Yep, that's what a competent ref does in a friendly.
