Barcelona Tickets

Post by stateofthenation » Thu Sep 18, 2025 10:42 am

Currently looking to go and finally see Barcelona play in the October holidays, (v Olympiacos). Been on my list for the last few years. Previously got as close having the passport out and booking flight and game tickets only to find no accommodation in Barcelona (no cheap stuff anyhow).

I’m just looking at the game ticket prices, and they are extortionate, I’m sure when I did nearly book I could get them off the official site and they were reasonable at around $70 but currently they are over $200 from sites from that look unofficial (I could be wrong).

Does anyone have any experience / advice of where I can get any? Much appreciated.

Have you got a Barca Number? What loyalty points do you need?? Do you know anyone with enough loyalty points that could get you one??? Bloody football tourists taking tickets for football matches, it's appalling!!!! And I bet they run out of mash and peas!!!!!

PS - sorry for not being vaguely helpful mate, just in a sarcastic mood.

Probably a little different now but we went in 2011

The plan was to see them play league game on the Sunday we landed however the brought the game forward 24hrs to the Saturday as they were playing in Champions League on the Tuesday

We were doing the stadium tour on the Monday went to ticket booth to see if had any for the game and payed €35 for a ticket.

Might have helped that it was a bit of a dead rubber game as it was last group game against Basel and had already qualified, so didn’t even get to see Messi play

At the moment they aren't even sure where they will play from one home game to the next. Might be a struggle just yet, so i'd potentially look at Espanyol options if you want football in that vicinity

They played last weekends la Liga match at the Johann Cruyff Stadium with an 8k capacity. I took it to be their reserves pitch. New Nou Camp not ready just yet.
Have a google and see how far off they are.

I wonder if they invite Burnley back to play them in an invitation friendly, for a ground re opening friendly. Like they did in 1955, for the opening of the Nou Camp.

When I went in 2014, I bought tickets from the offical Barcelona shop within the little shopping centre at the port at the bottom of the Ramblas.

You might need to guide them though. She said they didnt have 4 seats together and I asked to have a look at the stadium plan and found 4 together where it was 2 on one row and 2 on the row in front. Her mind was blown with this concept of being together

We always do that at The Alhambra in Bradford (or Leeds Grand etc) when we go as a group of 6 or more to see a show.

Easiest way so all can chat during intervals (pre-show etc)

I’d imagine the next few months are going to be like this, most of their fans have stayed away from games during their spell at the Olympic stadium and everyone in Catalunya is going to want a ticket when the Nou camp is back open they are going to go mad for it.

Prices will be worse if it opens at reduced capacity as well.

Aye, i'd genuinely look at waiting a year. Maybe try to do a game at the San Siro instead this season?

1957. And we didn't actually play Barcelona, we played Brazilian team Flamengo and lost 0-4. The stadium was officially opened the previous day when Barca played a Polish Select XI.

If you are anywhere near Placa d’Espanya there is a converted bull ring, now a shopping centre, called Arenas de Barcelona. There is a Barca ticket outlet in there.

We went twice in a week a couple of years ago. In Barcelona for a week hoping to see the game against Cadiz. They only settled the day and time a week or so before the game. It looks like official tickets from the club for this October aren't on sale yet.

This was our experience for the Cadiz game:

After we'd arranged the trip Man Utd were drawn to play there. I really struggled to get tickets. My UK IP address, UK credit card, UK phone number all worked against me, I guess because Utd were the opponents.
In the end, the day before the game, our daughter living in Australia bought tickets online from Barcelona and emailed them to me.
Again, this was the experience against Utd:

Good luck!
