FA Cup......

Post by StuffyClaret » Sun Jan 15, 2017 1:38 pm

With our current 'mid-table' status, will we be more likely to put more priority on the cup games now? It would seem that we have a very good chance of getting to the last 16 now with the favorable draw. Suddenly we might be only a couple of games from a Wembley semi-final.

We're not safe yet, which was our obvious goal at the start.
Don't think we're too far off though. Reckon another 12/13 points ought to be enough this year.
I'd personally love,a good cup run.
Add a different dimension to our season.

It's only right imo that those selected for the first game are top of the list for the replay, providing they're fit and available. So that's what I would expect on Tuesday. Which means we're putting out a very, very good side in the cup, without risking absolutely everybody, because we have enough good players not to.
