How are Leicester favourites

Post by PaintYorkClaretnBlue » Mon Jan 30, 2017 10:19 pm

to win tomorrow? Our home form is brilliant and their away form is awful yet they're 6/4 favs and we're 15/8.

Baffling!!

Long may we continue to be underrated.

Also they won the league last year.

I fancy they might sneak a 2-1 victory, think our midfield might struggle.

They did abuse us away from home, they looked like world beaters. They match up really well against us tbh, they will allow us possession and hit us on the counter all day long. We just have to use possession wisely something which we struggle with.

Everyone abused us away from home in the first few games, home form is different though.

Jeez the doom gloomers are out again. Keep on putting money on for home wins and you have a tidy profit.

Ours not to reason why.... just bung some money on us. I've made a good profit this season betting on home wins for us. The odds are coming down now unfortunately but, as you say, they are still v favourable given our home form.

We've lost our last two home games against them (albeit one was where we had Ings out injured and Vokesy go off injured, and the other where we missed a penalty and they went down the other end and scored)

It depends if Leicester are up for it. If they match our work rate you'd think they'd have a strong chance of winning.

Take 1-1 now if offered.

Leicester haven't won away, we have a great home record.

The pressure will be on us and off them I feel.

Hey Lawro has us down to lose 2-1 , a good sign to put your money on a home win I would say .

He no longer sees us as relegation candidates saying teams from Watfford downwards are under threat from relegation.

Lawro usually gives us a fair bit of credit but for some reason, he always has us down to lose. I'd be interested to see where we'd be in the table if his predictions were right every time.

Yes, nice use of logic there.

If only there was such a league table on the same page as his predictions each week.

(There is, and it has us 16th)

Thanks, hadn't seen that. He doesn't have us quite as low as I thought though there's a difference of 3 positions and we only have 15 points in his table. Oh dear, Lawro.

Football is often like that though. I've just seen odds of 17/10 for a Leicester win. I think a draw would be a decent result, and a win obviously superb. So placing a bet on a Leicester win, would mean you'd gain somehow, whether it be money or points.
