What are Rovers even protesting about? Is it the fact they got relegated because all of them called for Big Sam's head?

So boycott against lowly Blackpool but rock up in their numbers against their "rivals" in United??
No doubt with their half & half scarfs

They can't really decide.KefkaClaret wrote:What are Rovers even protesting about? Is it the fact they got relegated because all of them called for Big Sam's head?
Club is in financial trouble, but they wont accept the Trust was partly to blame, because they also wrote off £100 million prior to selling the club.
Walkers Legacy is being ruined, but they can't explain what that is when asked.
No money being pumped into the squad to get them back into the PL.
Secret dossier that could bring the Venkys down but they're all to scared to release it.
The Venkys were ripped off by Kean and his mates ( in all fairness they were).
They're on the verge of dropping into league 1 and they don't like that fact.
So the gist of it is they're protesting because the Venkys aren't pumping money into the playing squad and writing off all the debts, I think.
They cant even agree on it though, because its only a small number who bother with the protests

Yeah, pretty much like your lot, when they've stopped frothing at the mouth.Saxoman wrote:Sidney, you do realise you repeat the same stuff again and again and again.. ?
What your lot fail to realise is the FA are only bothered about all football related bills being paid.
So players wages and monies owed to other clubs for players.
The Taxman can whistle until the other bills get paid up.

Possibly, but we shall see.bfccrazy wrote:This has to be a fake?
Admittedly they're not usually this quick putting something out.
Have you seen the video of some Indian kids being taught to say Venkys out in English?

Is this not just an amazing way of saying "crap, we have Utd at home, we don't want to miss this one - I know let's turn it in to a fill the ground protest?"
Unbelievably plastic. Why not have a fill the ground protest every home game if they thought it was a such a good idea?

Re: Operation fill Ewood..
If this is true, it's because the organisers of whichever is the main protest group now (when they've all stopped fighting each other) have realised that trying to keep fans away from a huge cup tie will only make them look weaker - as hard a task as that might be - so now, when they inevitably get the biggest gate of the season the protesters can pretend like they've pulled off a huge blow to Venkys, while in effect having done nothing.
It'll give them an inflated sense of worth and hopefully help keep them shambling on til the end of the season and the big relegation party

''We're in the Championship. Let's pretend we're really good football fans, not supporting our team through PROTEST, when in fact we just can't be bothered watching terrible football week in, week out.''
''My goody goodness, we've drawn Man United at home. Since we're all good fans, let's all turn up and show the watching world we DO exist, even if only when playing a Premier League club.''
I hope they're battered.

Hahahahahaha
If you really wanted to make an statement, then you wouldn't turn up.
They know that they are a bunch of glory hunting plastics, and that no one would do that, so they have put this out.
Laughable

Roverrrrrs fans meeting:
'I know how we'll show them blasted Venkys. Let's fill the ground and give em all our cash! That'll teach em a lesson!'
'Yeah! And when the BBC televise the game everyone will know how the Venkys are destroying our club because the ground will be full!'
'Dave, get off that horse. I saw it first! Who's that over there with the liverpool shirt on, staring through the keyhole of the ladies toilets..?'

Absolutely. Surely it would have made a much bigger statement having a full stadium v Pool and an empty one v Man U. In any case the home end will probably have as many Man U fans in as Roverrrrs. And with this being the resurrection of Blackburn's true rivalry it could get uglyLancasterclaret wrote:Hahahahahaha

Absolutely cringey. What a pathetic, disorganised set of clowns. It gets funnier by the day. Mourinho wants silverware this year, I'd expect a strong United team and a good ol' smashing of the equestrians!!!!

If they're happy to accept outside investment then they can't complain when it goes wrong.
Didn't see any of them protesting about losing control of the club when Venky's first appeared.
