I wish Joey had pleaded guilty to the betting and taken whatever fine / club ban immediately.

It would have helped determine whether we need a replacement for him a couple of weeks ago not after we the January transfer window closes.

He could still plead guilty, couldn't he?

But if he's given a ban now....do we have time to bring in a replacement? Unless the Club have already prepared for that.

You would have hoped so, and that situation became even more pressing once we learned about Marney's injury.

We'll know soon enough I suppose.

Burnley is not dependant upon Marney.

Marney is a good player but BFC is capable of providing cover and I don't think we will suffer.

It looks as if Westwood from Villa will be arriving tomorrow
to fill the 'Marney' gap/loss.
So at least we'll be back to 4 midfielders although don't expect him to start
in front of Barton, Defour or Hendrick.

Well, we did two years ago when he got his injury. I know we have better options this time, but we still need a replacement in my humble opinion.

Dyche mentioned a possible striker coming in too depending on what he decides to do with Agyei.

Ranocchia is a central defender, I don't think he can play fullback so I don't see how that could allow them to lose Robertson.

I thought the ones who said the deadline was effectively Monday night - because of our game against Leicester - were completely wrong and it better prove to be the case.

I'm sure it will be a busy day but will it be a productive one or will we be left frustrated. Still you can always sing to Mr Garlick as the match progresses tonight something like Garlick, Garlick wheres's the bread.
